WESTMONT HILLTOP SCHOOL DISTRICT: 3
The Lady Red Devils suffered their first loss of the season in a hard fought and exciting match to Westmont. The Lady Red Devils dropped game 1 22-25, but bounced back games 2 and 3 with 25-19, 25-17 wins. Game 4 was back and forth action, but Westmont came back at the end to win 19-25. Game 5 the Lady Red Devils found themselves down 11-7, but tough serving led by Cass Bezek brought the ladies back 11-10. At 13-13 it was anyone's game, however Westmont prevailed in the end with a 15-13 game 5 match win.
Cass Bezek led the tem with 11 service points; Abbie Young had 42 digs; Jenna Bauer had 17 kills; Ashley Grimes 6 blocks; Liz Bopp 8 kills.
