Red Devil Tennis was represented in the PIAA District 6 AA Singles Tournament by Junior Olivia Ratchford and Sophomore Corinne Markovich. In Markovich's first trip to District 6 Singles, she won her opening match against Bishop Guilfoyles Erin Talko 6-2, 6-3. In the Quarterfinals, Corine defeated Kierra Mountain of Central 6-2, 6-1. In the Semis, Markovich feel to the top seed, Alyssa Kush of Westmont 6-0, 6-0. It was a great District 6 AA Tourney for Corinne and we are looking forward to more success in the future.
For the 2nd year in a a row, Sophomore Olivia Ratchford advances to the District 6 AA Finals on Day 1. After a bye in round 1, Ratchford defeated Forest Hill's Macie Poborski 6-1, 6-0.
Ratchford will face off against Westmont's Alyssa Kush on Weds for the District 6 AA Singles Crown!
